I had fun doing this small work during the blooming of forsythia in New England. I particularly love that flowing plant as it cheers us all up after a long winter!

I enjoyed working on this slightly softer painting, letting the flowers be gentle and tender.

I enjoy doing these "thousand flowers" tapestry-like paintings. They allow lots of room for considered composition, color play and delight.

This little Ridgefield water trough was designed to water horses and there is a little lower area for dogs to quench their thirst, too. It was presented to the town by Life Magazine founder John Ames Mitchell who lived on West Lane.

This is the first painting done of the second set of Merritt Parkway paintings, so I was indeed, "On the Road Again." While this may be about many things, it's also about continuity, perseverance, connectivity and our path.
